by Coach Jimmy Johnson’s Quest for the Ring Tournament has no likely winners after the first two days at Atlantic City and Sunset Marina in Ocean City, Maryland.
The first two days produced releases of just two blue marlin and nine whites while one bigeye was weighed along with yellowfins and dolphin. TIhe Golden Eagle from Belmar continues to provide limits of 1-4-pound bluefish which are stacked up on schools of sand eels on the hills where diamond jigs produce steady action.
Capt. Mark DeBlasio released his first blue marlin of the season on his Blue Runner from Point Pleasant while boating bigeyes and yellowfins.
