Capt. Bob Pisano had invited me to fish for giant tuna as some had been spotted at an inshore wreck. We were greeted by a gusty NW and rough sea before hearing a radio report about a plane hitting the WTC. There was speculation that we might be at war; Even the dedicated Pisano was uncomfortable with that and we headed in. The giant plumes of smoke weren’t visible to us as the NW blew them down.
