There were lots of 1-4-pound blues feeding on sand eels and squid at the hills for anglers yesterday on the Golden Eagle out of Belmar. Diamond jigs did the job before a switch to the bottom produced some sea bass, fluke and ling.
The Fishermen from Atlantic Highlands has been picking keeper fluke . Fishing pro Gen Wong bagged four plus a big sea bass yesterday. That oat will resume sailing Sunday.
