Fluke improving

Boaters in the NY/NJ Bight area are catching more keepers since the water temperature started climbing. Capt. Ron Santee reports from his Fishermen out of Atlantic Highlands “Water temp back up to 65.7 today. Not much of a drift but we made due with what we had.

The Golden Eagle from that port got into limits of 1-4-pound blues on small diamond kigs this week before adding some sea bass and fluke on bottom.
