As noted here, my nephew, Bob Correll of Hutchinson Island, booked two days of snook fishing and invited me to join him. This rainmaker brought unpredicted downpours to bone dry Florida and the first day had to be cancelled. However, the next day was fishable with Capt. Chris Scott of Stuart. Working small live pilchards around nearby bridges produced a small dnook right away for Bob. A cooler was brought to the bow of the center console and this nealy 90-year old was able to enjoy fighting snook up to 27 inches while seated safely. My last catch was the only variety — a jack crevalle.

This is strictly a release fishery as Chris protects his local fishery.
