Tackle Box endorsement for Governor

This is the first time I’ve heard of a tackle shop endorsing a candidate, but the Tackle Box in Hazlet has a good reason as follows:

“ATTN! NJ FISHERMEN & OUTDOORSMEN! As a small family business that started in 1945 in Highlands and now in our 49th year here on #fish36 in Hazlet it’s become harder & harder to make a living with the taxes, insurance and electric prices of this state! Add on top of that the ridiculous fishing seasons, closures and size regulations – we desperately want and need change! @jack4nj has talked to us and promised a complete overhaul of our outdoor recreation industry! Also, he will fix the destruction of our Bunker in NJ – the most important fish in the sea! I offer my help to him in any way I can in fixing the #asmfc dismal history of allowing this to happen! The striper bite held up today as Capt. Ron Santee reported a keeper for all among many releases. Today’s bass were stuffed with small bunker, and shads worked best on the Fishermen from Atlantic Highlands. Tomorrow is the skipper’s 67th, and he’s looking forward to a nice day with good fishing conditions from the west.
