By morning it should be down to 10-15 knots from the north with gusts to 25. However, looking ahead to Sunday the forecast is for just 5-10 knots northeast with seas down to two feet or less. As a result, the Ocean Explorer will sail from Belmar for cod on Sunday.

Check in the Shrewsbury and navesink River today very windy there also. Evidence of bunkers up the river in the navesink. It won’t be long before the fish are on them. We will be seeking flounder in the navicent this coming week. Providing the weather gives us a break
