The Empire State’s marine striped bass season runs from April 15 to Dec. 15 with one bass of 28-35 inches. The wind is shifting to northwest, with a forecast of 15-20 knots plus gusts to 30 in the morning — and 4-6-foot seas. |

Had my first Blue Fish in the season not that I really wanted it it was a skinny racer. I was fishing up in the bay. Had all the striper action you could want. But it was cold nasty wind out of the North East. Very very few boats out today can’t say as I blame them cold ride back to Highlands from the bay may take me a couple days to thaw out.
