by The Golden Eagle from Belmar braved the strong west wind to confirm that striped bass sre available to anglers in NY/NJ Bight. Though the bite wasn’t good. they got into good quantities and also had significant readings. Most of the bass were overs, but they also had a keeper.
A small craft advisory is up until 8 p.m. Sunday starts with northwest winds at just 5-10 knots before turning to west in the afternoon. Surfcasting conditions should be ideal.
