The NY/NJ Bight striped bass run isn’t at peak yet, but all the charter boat reports I’ve been getting indicate that limits have been steady along with plenty of releases of shorts and overs. At times the bite is slow to start, but ends up hot. Of course, weather conditions have a lot to do with that.

A small craft advisory is up through Sunday morning. Sunday’s forecast is for northwest winds at 10-15 knots with gusts to 20.
