Had to work harder for big stripers today

Capt. Ron Santee Jr. had a bunch of Fishermen regulars aboard this morning when he left Atlantic

Highlands and saw bass working near the beach. Those bass wouldn’t hit, “so we headed for some excellent bird life a couple of miles away.

Found the Big Bass again but today they were very finicky, caught a couple each drift as the day went on and we never had that 6-8 on at a time. Today you had to work it hard to get the reward.

Had fish on top just about every place we went yet, they never seemed to settle up. Weather looks good all week! “
