Capt. Ron Santee Jr. of the Fishermen out of Atlantic Highlands summed up another great day of striper fishing as follows:

“Once again it was a gorgeous day on the Striper grounds…

Sailed with a nice gang of customers and they were all looking for a battle! Arrived to the area and had bird life in several directions with fish busting. Got set up and slugged away on Big Beautiful Stripers all day. Ended up with a couple keepers in the mix but most were huge once again.

Weather looks great tomorrow.”

The forecast is for north winds at 5-10 knots plus gusts to 20 before going east in the afternoon.
